What is a Dirt Road Farm anyway?

When we first started describing the farm to our family and friends, we described it as this big old farmhouse that you could only get to by traveling on dirt roads.

Take the dirt road, stay on the dirt road, go through the jog in the road, to get to the old farm.

A farm that was hungry for life and people to love it up and make it pretty again.

We started affectionately calling it our Dirt Road Farm.  Because that’s a lot to say, and because we speak military and are all about abbreviations, it quickly became our beloved DRF.

We bought the farm in 2011 and have had six years to plan and dream.  Six years is a long time yet it has flown by. The waiting makes 2017 all the sweeter.
