Boys and their toys
Despite some storms and much needed rain, Harker Excavating got ‘er dun. Thank you David and Scott! Monday morning started with a meeting of the minds.
Before we knew it, the clouds had cleared off and the equipment was fired up. BJR looked on like a kid in a candy store.
I have to say, until you watch a skilled fella, swing that bucket around, up close and personal — you just have no idea. I had no idea. David Harker of Harker Excavating brought his A-game to DRF. Thank you, David. (Thank you also for letting my BJR have some fun. More on that, in just a moment.)
Here is the BEFORE…
and here is the almost done, but not quite, AFTER…
How amazing to move that kind of dirt in that kind of time frame. I kept thinking of Mike Mulligan and his steamshovel.
Impressive stuff this heavy equipment is. (And look at that cute operator…BJR was beyond happy to get to help dig out part of the new addition!)
Again, David and Scott, you were awesome…thanks for being part of this project! #respect
Thank you Harker Excavating!
