A lot has happened as of late…
Two kids graduating (Congrats Coop and Austin!) and our very first grandbaby…Welcome to the world, Norah! Can’t wait to meet you!
Too blessed for words.
In the meantime, all of this has been transpiring.
Thank you Randall Grady of North American! You were awesome! (So awesome, he and BJR were out at the shooting range after a 12 hour day of off-loading to shoot some guns. Boys and their bang-bangs. Insert eye roll. Gotta love ’em.)
We were able to beat the moving van by 36 hours or so, so we set out to clean and make as much space as possible for the 19,000 pounds of household goods that were somehow going to fit into our humble farmhouse.
We did get most everything in, but it isn’t pretty on the inside…
A before shot…that’s the wood room, which will be our family room, after the renovation of course. Put on your reno-goggles. You can see it if you try. Really hard. Focus. (You have to trust me…it will be lovely.)
And this is what it looks like after the delivery of our home goods…
Oy…
Yep, that is the same room.
Now visualize that for each and every room of our beloved four-square farmhouse. I think we may be appropriate candidates for a hoarders episode.
